Booking Calendar Owner Setting
Section titled “Booking Calendar Owner Setting”The new Booking Calendar Owner setting allows you to designate a primary user responsible for managing and editing a Booking Calendar’s configuration settings.
This clearly separates editing permissions and hosting responsibilities into two distinct, well-defined roles:
- The Owner: Responsible for managing and configuring all Booking Calendar settings.
- The Host: Responsible for conducting the meetings booked through the Booking Calendar.
By separating editing permissions from hosting responsibilities, you can assign calendar configuration management directly to specific administrative users while allowing meeting hosts to focus solely on conducting their scheduled meetings.
Key Benefits
Section titled “Key Benefits”- Delegated Responsibilities: Allows specific team members, such as office assistants, sales ops, or compliance associates, to manage Booking Calendar setups without giving them broader data access & account permissions.
- Restricted Editing: Members and Team Managers who are non-owners are prevented from making unauthorized edits to existing Booking Calendar configurations.
