Including Booking pages in a Master page

Master pages allow you to combine multiple Booking pages into one page that you can share with your customers and publish on your website. This allows you to provide a single point of access to different Team members in your organization, or to multiple meeting locations or channels.

Bookings made on your Master page will be distributed among the Booking pages included in your Master page. When customers visit your Master page, they will either select which Booking page they prefer, or bookings can be automatically assigned to Booking pages according to rules you define.

How you add Booking pages to your Master page depends on the Master page scenario. The four scenarios are: Rule-based assignment, Booking pages first, Event types first, and Booking pages only.

Adding Booking pages to a Master page with Rule-based assignment

  1. Go to Setup and click on the relevant Master page in the Master page pane.
  2. You will land on the Master page Overview section. Navigate to the Assignment section of your Master page (See Figure 1).
  3. Select your rule type: Static or Dynamic.

If you use Dynamic rules:

  1. Select which Event types you want to include in your Master page.
  2. Next, select a Booking page and/or Resource pool to be the Primary team member who will provide that Event type in your Master page.
  3. If your meeting requires participation from multiple team members from your organization, add Additional team members by selecting the relevant Booking pages and/or Resource pools from the dropdown.
  4. Click save and you're done! When Customers visit your page, they will select an Event type and a time. Bookings will be automatically assigned to Booking pages or members of your Resource pools, according to each pool's distribution method.

Note When using Dynamic rules, the existing associations between Booking pages and Event types do not matter. Any Booking page can be selected to provide any Event type.

If you use Static rules:

  1. In the Distribution method section, select the method for distributing bookings made on your Master page.
  2. Next, scroll down to the Included Booking pages section and select the Booking pages you want to include from the drop down. You will see which Event types are associated with each of the Booking pages you selected. These Event types will be offered in your Master page.
  3. If you are using Pooled availability with priority as your distribution method, assign a priority to each of the Booking pages. Bookings will be assigned to the Booking page with the highest priority available at the selected time.
  4. Press save and you are all set!
